Seth Godin? sethdotcom.tumblr Titled “The Best In Technology News” is this tumblr by the prominent tech critic and author of yoyodine cum yahoo squidoo fame? But the title is “sethdotcom” which takes you to Seth Swirsky’s blog or is there another Seth who writes really good articles like this one comparing Apple’s current monopoly with Microsoft of years gone by? Online since august says he is blogging from Toledo, Ohio. So I think it is him. I need some whuffie trust verification. Either way the posts are articulate well written tech news that are worth reading. That is if you care about such. I use ‘such’ now. It is my own little funny to me.

Nicorola

Video-Ahula Baby “Nicorola loves music videos” is the MTV of the tumblr network. A collection of fine music videos served up via mostly Youtube. What kind of music you ask? Mostly popular folk alt including some of my favorites:

White T’s, Death Cab For Cutie, Arcade Fire, The Shins, and Dntel (the video posted here)

Those who know and love these artist’s will appreciate the collection, and those who are new to it can browse, listen, and learn.

This tumble since July has served over 100 great music videos and appears to be part of a German Wordpress blog called nicorola.

It would be nice if there was some description or commentary with each post, but as my German is nicht so gut, I guess I am not missing anything.

Now if only I could figure a way to feed this channel to play each video and project it on the wall.

submitresponse is another experimental tumblr blog that is created by a genius coder. Make certain you click the “show/hide tags” for a big cloud of keywords. (This feature is what tumblr needs. While I love the simplicity I must have tags!) Unfortunately there is no ‘previous’ button to see other posts at this UK tumble’.

project.ioni.st Other then the snazzy canonical domain title this tumblr blog also has pretty pimped graphics and code. The site also features a visual ‘archive’ of monthly tumbles. There are 7 authors who contribute to the tumblr. Other then form and function the content has music distributed by a flash MP3 player, tips, and some really cool disctionary words and definitions along with the standard geek links, photos, and videos. project.ioni.st is inspired by this site.

Jeff Is A Geek is a tumblr blog you can Tumble to Twitter some Flickrs. The site is indeed ‘twitterfull for those who tweet, but it also has great geek links to tech stuff with a dab of wrestling. I set up a root level domain for tumblrd.com that way I don’t have to type in tumblrd dot tumblr dot com. How nice. Please update your book marks. (I did not use the suggested tumblr method for this as I have a fully hosted site for tumblrd.com and just pointing the domain to tumblr won’t work for me. I see tumblr as more of an add on to a domain like blogs then the domain itself.)

Into Dean’s Cyberspace has some chuckles, photos and links. Earlier in his stream there were a lot of movie trailers with pert little reviews. Those were cool, hope there is more to come.
